An electrum pickaxe is the electrum pickaxe, made by smithing a diamond pickaxe with electrum alloy. Its Fortune III intrinsic makes it the best pickaxe for ore yields.

The upgrade needs no template, and enchantments on the diamond item carry over; where both have the same enchantment, the higher level is kept.[1]
Usage
Mining
It breaks pickaxe blocks at speed 12 and obsidian, crying obsidian and ender chests at speed 55. It has 3000 durability.
The pack also makes glass, glass panes, glowstone, sea lanterns and mob heads pickaxe blocks.[2]
Intrinsics
The electrum fortune intrinsic () works like Fortune on ores, crops and leaves; the pack's loot tables check for it directly. Electrum tools are the only source of Fortune III in the pack, and the intrinsic cannot be combined with Fortune or Silk Touch.[3] Intrinsics are stored on the item and applied as enchantments when it enters a player's inventory.[4]
Combat
It deals 5 ( × 2.5) damage at an attack speed of 1.2.
Repairing
It can be repaired in an anvil with blocks of diamond. The pack resets repair costs to zero, so it can be repaired indefinitely; see Repairing.

Electrum Alloy

In a blast furnace it melts down into an adamant alloy, not electrum, because electrum shares the netherite item IDs. This makes melting electrum gear a way to turn an electrum alloy into an adamant alloy.[5]
Trading
An apprentice weaponsmith buys it for one electrum alloy, so the alloy can be reused.[6]

- It uses a netherite item ID, so it does not burn in fire or lava.
