A copper pickaxe is the copper pickaxe, crafted from three copper ingots and two sticks. In Matcha Flavoured it is the first pickaxe that can mine hematite (iron ore) and native silver, and the one players are expected to use for most of the early game.

Usage
Mining
The copper pickaxe breaks pickaxe blocks at speed 6, faster than the vanilla copper pickaxe (5) and twice the speed of the wooden pickaxe. It has 350 durability.
It cannot harvest diamond ore, native gold, obsidian, crying obsidian or ender chests: those blocks break at speed 3 and drop nothing.[1] An iron pickaxe is needed for gold and diamonds, and a diamond pickaxe for obsidian.
The pack also makes glass, glass panes, glowstone, sea lanterns and mob heads pickaxe blocks, so a pickaxe breaks them faster than a bare hand.[2]
Combat
As a weapon it deals 3 ( × 1.5) damage at an attack speed of 1.2.
Repairing
It can be repaired in an anvil with copper ingots. As with all equipment in the pack, the repair cost never grows, so it can be repaired indefinitely; see Repairing.
Smelting and smithing
In a blast furnace, it can be melted down into a single copper ingot. The copper pickaxe is also the base item for the shakudo and hepatizon upgrades at a smithing table.
