An iron dolabra is the iron dolabra, a combined pickaxe and axe crafted from four iron ingots and two sticks.

Usage

Mining

It breaks pickaxe and axe blocks at speed 6, one slower than the iron pickaxe or iron axe, and has 500 durability.

Unlike the iron pickaxe, it has no obsidian restriction, so it harvests obsidian, crying obsidian and ender chests at its normal speed. This makes it the cheapest way to collect obsidian, although the 1.12.1-alpha notes say only diamond, electrum and adamant tools can.

Matcha Flavoured adds beds, candles, cacti and honeycomb blocks to the blocks that axes break quickly.

Combat

It deals 6 ( × 3) damage at an attack speed of 0.9.

Repairing

It can be repaired in an anvil with iron ingots. The pack resets repair costs to zero, so it can be repaired indefinitely; see Repairing.
