Electrum leggings are the electrum leggings, made by smithing diamond leggings with electrum alloy. Worn, they ward off undead.

The upgrade needs no template, and enchantments on the diamond item carry over; where both have the same enchantment, the higher level is kept.[1]
Usage
Armor
They give 6 armor and 3 toughness, with 1000 durability. Unlike netherite, electrum armor has no knockback resistance. Electrum uses a netherite item ID, so it does not burn in fire or lava. Piglins treat it as gold armor.
Set bonus
Each piece counts one level towards Warding, so the full set gives warding 4, the only way to reach that level: it slows undead within 24 blocks, damages the nearest within 12, and pierces the protection of copper armor. Held warding items never raise the total above 3.
With all four pieces, the set bonus also grants Absorption I (2 extra hearts) for 31 seconds every 30 seconds.[2][3]
Repairing
They can be repaired in an anvil with blocks of diamond. The pack resets repair costs to zero, so they can be repaired indefinitely; see Repairing.

Electrum Alloy

In a blast furnace they melt down into an adamant alloy, not electrum, because electrum shares the netherite item IDs. This makes melting electrum gear a way to turn an electrum alloy into an adamant alloy.[4]
Trading
An apprentice weaponsmith buys it for one electrum alloy, so the alloy can be reused.[5]
