A shakudo dolabra is the shakudo dolabra, made by smithing a copper axe or copper dolabra with shakudo alloy and a smithing upgrade template. It is a pickaxe and axe with Silk Touch, but without the axe's life steal.

This upgrade needs a smithing upgrade template; without one, the same copper axe and alloy make a shakudo axe.
Usage
Mining
It breaks pickaxe and axe blocks at speed 7 and has 1000 durability. Unlike the shakudo pickaxe it has no obsidian rule, so it harvests obsidian too.
Matcha Flavoured adds beds, candles, cacti and honeycomb blocks to the blocks that axes break quickly.[1]
Intrinsics
Its Silk Touch intrinsic makes blocks drop themselves. Intrinsics are stored on the item and applied as enchantments when it enters a player's inventory.[2]
Combat
It deals 7 ( × 3.5) damage at an attack speed of 1.
Repairing
It can be repaired in an anvil with blocks of copper. The pack resets repair costs to zero, so it can be repaired indefinitely; see Repairing.

An apprentice weaponsmith buys it for one shakudo alloy, which lets the alloy be reused on a fresh copper item.[3]
Notes
- Shakudo tools reuse the stone tools' item IDs, so they cannot be melted down in a blast furnace.
History

Shakudo alloy became more expensive (2 blocks of gold and 4 blocks of copper instead of 3 gold and 6 copper ingots). A weaponsmith now takes the item back in exchange for its alloy, so players can rebuild it with updated stats. |
