A diamond shovel is the diamond shovel, crafted from a diamond and two sticks.

Usage
Digging
It breaks shovel blocks at speed 9 and has 2500 durability; the cheaper golden shovel digs faster but lasts a seventh as long.
Combat
It deals 5.5 ( × 2.75) damage at an attack speed of 1.
Repairing
It can be repaired in an anvil with diamonds. The pack resets repair costs to zero, so it can be repaired indefinitely; see Repairing.
Smelting and smithing
In a blast furnace it melts down into one diamond. It is the base for both electrum and adamant upgrades.
