The blast furnace is the hottest smelting station and the only one that smelts iron, gold, silver and diamonds.

The vanilla recipe is replaced: 4 polished deepslate, 2 smooth stone and a kindling (campfire), with no iron or furnace.[1]
Usage
It smelts raw iron, raw gold, raw silver, raw diamonds, carbon-rich iron, ancient debris and several stone blocks, and melts metal equipment back into ingots, diamonds or adamant alloy. Obtaining one grants Burgeoning Metallurge. None.
