Copper boots are the copper boots, crafted from four copper ingots. They give 1 armor point, the least of any metal boots, and are the base for shakudo and hepatizon boots.

Usage

Armor

Copper boots give 1 armor and have 200 durability (vanilla: 143). Leather boots give the same armor along with Feather Falling.

Warding

Copper armor protects undead from Warding. While any non-player entity wearing at least one piece of plain copper armor (not shakudo or hepatizon) is within warding range, warding at levels 1 to 3 targets that entity instead, deals no damage and does not slow it. Only level 4 warding, from the full electrum set bonus, pierces this and damages the wearer. Warding stones ignore copper armor entirely.

Repairing

They can be repaired in an anvil with copper ingots. As with all equipment in the pack, the repair cost never grows, so they can be repaired indefinitely; see Repairing.

History

1.10	Undead wearing copper armor became immune to Warding.
1.12.2	Warding now targets copper-wearing mobs (and armor stands) before other undead, so copper armor draws warding away from nearby undead.
