Wooden equipment
Wooden equipment is the first tier of tools and weapons in Matcha Flavoured, crafted from planks and sticks.
Obtaining
Wooden tools are crafted with the vanilla shapes; the vanilla recipes are blocked and replaced by the pack's own, which set the stats below.[1] Stone tools are removed entirely: the pack's README says players go from wood to copper to iron.[2] The IDs of the stone tools are reused for steel, shakudo and hepatizon items.
The README advises starting with a campfire and a wooden hoe, then cooking grass to reach the mud kiln and copper.[3]
Mining
The wooden pickaxe mines stone and the lower ores, but cannot get drops from hematite, native gold, native silver, diamond ore, sulfur ores, natural lapis lazuli or deepslate. Wooden axes, shovels and hoes keep the vanilla wooden mining tier.
