A hepatizon axe is the hepatizon axe, made by smithing a copper axe with hepatizon alloy. It fells trees at speed 20, the fastest of any axe.

The upgrade needs no template, and enchantments on the copper item carry over.[1]
Usage
Woodcutting
It breaks axe blocks at speed 20 and has 1000 durability. Matcha Flavoured adds beds, candles, cacti and honeycomb blocks to the blocks that axes break quickly.[2]
Combat
It deals 9 ( × 4.5) damage at an attack speed of 1.1. While held in the main hand it adds 0.0055 to movement speed, 5.5% of the player's base speed.
Repairing
It can be repaired in an anvil with blocks of copper. The pack resets repair costs to zero, so it can be repaired indefinitely; see Repairing.

An apprentice weaponsmith buys it for one hepatizon alloy, so the alloy can be reused.[3]
Notes
- Hepatizon tools reuse the stone tools' item IDs, so they cannot be melted down in a blast furnace.
- Its attack speed modifier has no slot, so it also applies while the axe is held in the off hand.[4]
History
