Usage

Farming and mining

It breaks hoe blocks at speed 9 and has 2500 durability. Hoes in Matcha Flavoured also break wool, wool slabs and stairs, carpets, glow lichen and phosphor lamps quickly.[1]

Combat

It deals 1 ( × 0.5) damage at an attack speed of 4.

Repairing

It can be repaired in an anvil with diamonds. The pack resets repair costs to zero, so it can be repaired indefinitely; see Repairing.

In a blast furnace it melts down into one diamond. It is the base for both electrum and adamant upgrades. With a template it becomes an electrum or adamant mattock.
