Sturdy leather armor is a stronger leather set crafted from sturdy leather. It has Projectile Protection, 2 safe fall distance per piece, and the boots add step height and Trailblaze.
Obtaining
The pieces are the helmet, gambeson, leggings and boots. They are repaired with tattered leather.
Chests
Shipwreck supply chests give the pieces.[1][2] The village tannery's loot table, which once gave a piece from an older, weaker version of the set, is empty, and no other table rolls those older pieces.[3]
