Golden equipment is crafted from gold ingots. Each piece carries an intrinsic: golden tools have Fortune I, golden weapons Looting, and golden armor Fire Protection.
Obtaining
Gold ingots come from native gold, which needs an iron pickaxe, and from gilded hellstone. The golden helmet is named the golden crown.
Mining
Golden tools mine fast (speed 12, or 15 for the shovel) but break quickly. Unlike vanilla, the golden pickaxe harvests every ore; only obsidian gives no drops.
