An adamant claymore is the adamant claymore, made by smithing a diamond sword with adamant alloy and a smithing upgrade template. It is the strongest melee weapon in the pack and blocks better than the steel claymore.

This upgrade needs a smithing upgrade template; without one, the same diamond sword and alloy make an adamant sword.
Usage
Combat
It deals 9 ( × 4.5) damage at an attack speed of 1 and has 3000 durability. The adamant weapon intrinsic inflicts Weakness II for 8 to 12 seconds on every hit. Weakened mobs are what the Doom intrinsic of adamant armor detonates.[1]
Blocking
Held up with the use button, it blocks 80% of melee damage and 70% of arrow and mob projectile damage, losing durability equal to a quarter of the damage blocked. Axes disable it for as long as a shield.[2]
Intrinsics
Sharpness I, Unbreaking II and Weakness. Intrinsics are stored on the item and applied as enchantments when it enters a player's inventory.[3]
Repairing
It can be repaired in an anvil with blocks of diamond or adamant scrap. The pack resets repair costs to zero, so it can be repaired indefinitely; see Repairing.
