Chorus fruit is a raw ingredient whose intrinsic is 
Levitation. Eaten raw, it heals 1 ( × 0.5) and teleports the player randomly, as in vanilla (the tooltip calls this "Warping").[1] Popped in an oven, it gives a short burst of Levitation instead. The developer suggests stocking up on it in The End.[2]

Chorus plants drop 0 or 1 of the pack's chorus fruit, as in vanilla.[3] The loot table applies Fortune and the Electrum tool intrinsic first and then sets the count to 0–1, which overrides both bonuses, so neither increases the drop.

Usage
Food
Eating chorus fruit heals 1 ( × 0.5) and teleports the player up to 8 blocks away, like vanilla chorus fruit.
Chorus fruit is cooked into popped chorus fruit (Levitation III, 0:03) in an oven only; kindling can't pop it. Popped chorus fruit makes chorus mochi, whose Levitation XXX for 1 second launches the player upward.
