A golden pickaxe is the golden pickaxe, crafted from three gold ingots and two sticks. It mines very fast and comes with Fortune I, but wears out quickly.

Usage
Mining
It breaks pickaxe blocks at speed 12, faster than a diamond pickaxe (9), and has 350 durability. Unlike the vanilla golden pickaxe, which is limited to wooden-tier blocks, it harvests every ore. It gets no drops from obsidian, crying obsidian or ender chests, which break at speed 3.[1]
The pack also makes glass, glass panes, glowstone, sea lanterns and mob heads pickaxe blocks.[2]
Enchantments
It has Fortune I. Golden gear comes with its enchantments already applied. They are ordinary enchantments, so they can be combined or removed like any other.
Combat
It deals 2 ( × 1) damage at an attack speed of 1.2.
Repairing
It can be repaired in an anvil with gold ingots. The pack resets repair costs to zero, so it can be repaired indefinitely; see Repairing.
