The silver sword is an iron sword inlaid with silver and fitted with a Nazar. It combines Smite III with 1, making it a weapon built against the undead.

Silver Bullion serves as the smithing template. Silver is found mainly in mountains and Abbeys. Enchantments already on the iron sword are kept; where the old sword and the silver sword share an enchantment, the higher level is used (see intrinsic enchantments).

Usage

Weapon

The silver sword deals 6 ( × 3) of damage with an attack speed of 1.6 and has 400 durability, one more point of damage than the Warding Sword but less durability. Its Smite III adds damage against undead mobs.

Warding

Held in either hand, the sword gives 1, the same as the warding sword, and stacks with warding in the other hand up to 3. See Warding.

Repairing

The silver sword can only be repaired with a Nazar or a block of lapis lazuli.

Advancements

Smithing the silver sword grants Sabbatarian ("Affix a Nazar to an Iron Sword inlaid with Silver in a Smithing Table") in the Tutorial tab, which rewards an Obol. Collecting silver grants The Warding Metal: "Silver, a once-common Apotropaic Metal is found most commonly in Mountains. Most deposits are now harboured in Abbeys."
