A blessing is an enchanted book crafted from a Hell-Bound Book and a set of themed ingredients. Blessings are the main way to get enchantments in Matcha Flavoured, replacing the enchanting table. Each one stores a fixed set of enchantments at fixed levels and is named, in its tooltip, as a prayer or elegy to a deity or mythological figure: the Prayer of Prometheus grants Unbreaking, the Elegy of Icarus grants Feather Falling.

Every blessing is a shaped crafting recipe with a Hell-Bound Book in the center slot. The surrounding slots (up to eight) hold ingredients tied to the enchantment and the figure it is named after. The recipes are in the pack's recipe/blessing folder.[1]

The Prayer of Daedalus and the Prayer of Lu Ban need a Divine Favor, and the Prayer of Prometheus needs a Divine Fragment, which makes Unbreaking, Efficiency and Mending the most expensive enchantments to craft. Protection and Sharpness have no blessing at all and come only from Ofuda or loot.
Usage
A blessing is combined with a piece of equipment in an anvil, like any enchanted book. Blessings do not stack. Because the pack sets every anvil cost multiplier to 1 and gives the player experience while they use an anvil, applying a blessing is cheap; see Enchanting#Applying enchantments.
Blessings are not the Hell-Bound Book itself: the crafted book stores only the blessing's enchantments, not the Curse of Binding that a blank Hell-Bound Book carries.
Appearance
All blessings share the item name "Blessing". The prayer or elegy name is shown as a dark gray lore line, and each blessing has its own texture.[2] The Prayer of Man and the Prayer of Talos have rare (aqua) rarity and the Prayer of Lu Ban has epic (purple) rarity; the others use the default rarity of an enchanted book.
The three elegies are named after tragic figures of Greek myth (Arachne, Hyacinthus and Icarus), while the prayers address gods, Titans, heroes and saints.
