A grindstone is a block that repairs items and removes enchantments. Matcha Flavoured keeps its vanilla recipe and behavior. It is the job site block of the Weaponsmith.

Usage

Removing enchantments

As in vanilla, placing an item or Hell-Bound Book in a grindstone removes all its enchantments except curses. The grindstone returns some experience, as in vanilla, and the player keeps it, although the pack hides the experience bar and level number. Experience matters little in the pack, since using an anvil sets the player's level to 10,000; see Anvil#Experience.[1][2] Up to 1.12.6-alpha, the pack reset a player's experience to 0 each tick outside a short window after using an anvil, so this experience was lost.[3] Because curses stay, a blank Hell-Bound Book keeps its Curse of Binding.

Job site

The grindstone is the job site block of the Weaponsmith, which the release notes call the "Grindstone Villager".[4]
