Matcha Flavoured 0.6-alpha, "Polish", is a release of Matcha Flavoured, published on July 17, 2026. It introduced abandoned villages and the rules that limit surface spawning to undead mobs and stop it entirely after the Ender Dragon is killed.

Additions

• Villages were reworked: "Villages! But not what you would expect". The developer wanted the world to feel abandoned until the player arrives, so only villages at the player's base should feel alive. See Abandoned village.
• The "Dry Hands" music disc.
• Recipes and recipe unlocks for all craftable music discs, and fixed disc fragments.
• Experience is only shown while the player is using an anvil, because datapacks cannot remove the experience cost of anvil repairs.
• The "Catch Everything!" advancement (now "No More Fish in the Sea").
• Warding stones heal "villager friends": wolves, cats, villagers, wandering traders, players, and iron and snow golems. Their healing range increased from 10 to 16 blocks.
• Sand, red sand and packed mud support vegetation, so grass can be placed on sand.
• Iron and steel recipe unlocks.
• A new secret recipe, found in a chest. See Secret recipes.
• Chiseled blocks can no longer be crafted from slabs and must be made in a stonecutter.
• All slabs can be crafted back into their full block.
• New textures: pumpkin and melon stems, glow lichen (worm-like on ceilings), flower pots, some baby armor, and the iron golem.

Changes

• The eye of ender is purple when placed in an End portal frame.
• The divine fragment trade was removed from the librarian (now the mouthpiece), to discourage mob farms.
• Jewelry is unbreakable, so it never needs repairing.
• Raw and cooked morsel renamed to raw flesh and cooked flesh, with new textures.
• Tomato soup became grilled tomatoes, and pickled tomatoes became sun-dried tomatoes.
• Texture changes: the red glazed terracotta texture removed, native silver ore changed, diamond deepslate ore made consistent with other deepslate ores, improved bars, fixed beds, redone nether bricks, flower and decorated pots recolored to match the pack's bricks, spruce painting frames, a darker frame for "Match", and fences, signs and boats made consistent with their planks.

Fixes

• The broken bronze (now hepatizon) elytra had no texture, and the bronze elytra had no translation.
• The Prayer of Demeter counts for the crafting advancement.
• Golden carrot cupcakes heal properly.
• Zombies were dropping nothing. All mob loot tables were checked.
• All foods have consistent consume particles.
• The new hostile mob spawning rules work: in the overworld, only undead spawn in open areas; after the dragon is killed, no hostile mobs spawn above sea level or in open areas; other dimensions use normal spawning. See Spawning and Surface.
• Zombified piglins and piglins no longer drop their armor or tools.
