Wax is the Matcha Flavoured name for the vanilla honeycomb. It is still harvested from bee nests and beehives with shears, and is used to wax copper and to craft candles, beehives and a few of the pack's items.

Crafting

A honeycomb block can be crafted back into 4 wax, which vanilla Minecraft does not allow.

Tallow, found in igloo chests, is a variant of wax that works the same way.

Usage

Wax keeps its vanilla uses: using it on a copper block waxes the block, and it is crafted into candles, beehives and honeycomb blocks. The pack also uses it in:

• the Elegy of Icarus blessing (Feather Falling), with wind charges, feathers and a Hell-Bound Book;
• the Crete music disc, with 8 disc fragments.

Trivia

• The rename applies to the item only; the honeycomb block keeps its name.
