Defined inender_eye.json

The Eye of Ender is used to find and activate the end portal, as in vanilla. Matcha Flavoured replaces its recipe: instead of a blaze powder and an ender pearl per eye, a Stabilized Estus and a Divine Fragment craft 16 eyes at once.

The vanilla recipe is removed.[1] One craft gives more eyes than a portal needs (12), but it requires a Divine Fragment, so reaching The End means breaking a spawner or defeating a strong mob first.[2][3]

Usage

Eyes of ender are thrown to locate a stronghold and placed in end portal frames, as in vanilla. They are also used to craft end crystals:

Behavior

An eye of ender lying on the ground floats: it has no gravity, sinks slowly while the block three below it is air, and rises while the block half a block below it is not air. It gives off portal particles.[4][5]
