The book in the center must be a Hell-Bound Book.[1] The crafted item is named "Blessing", with "Prayer of Daedalus" as a dark gray lore line.

Usage

The Prayer of Daedalus is applied to equipment in an anvil, like an enchanted book. Efficiency applies to mining tools, and Unbreaking to any item with durability. Besides loot, Efficiency also comes from the Prayer of The God-King Ofuda (Efficiency II and Unbreaking I) and on adamant tools, which are smithed with Efficiency I or II.[2]

History

0.5-alpha Texture added.[3]

Trivia

  • Daedalus is the craftsman and inventor of Greek myth, father of Icarus (see Elegy of Icarus). The developer thanked a contributor in the 1.12.1-alpha release notes with "may you be blessed by Daedalus himself".[4]
