Crafting Table

| Type | Block |
|---|---|
| Stackable | Yes (64) |
| Resource location | minecraft:crafting_table |
| Defined in | crafting_table.json |
The crafting table is the block used to craft most items with a 3×3 grid. Its recipe and function are the same as in vanilla Minecraft; Matcha Flavoured changes its appearance and a few of the rules around crafting.
Obtaining
| Name | Ingredients | Recipe |
|---|---|---|
| Crafting Table (vanilla recipe) | 4 × Any planks |
Four planks of any wood make a crafting table, as in vanilla.
Usage
The crafting table works as in vanilla. Nearly every custom item in the pack that is not cooked, smithed or cut is crafted on it; see Crafting for the full picture.
Changes to crafting as a whole:
- Repairing is disabled. The vanilla recipe that combines two damaged tools into one is removed; equipment is repaired in an anvil instead.[1] See Repairing.
- Some crafts give back a glass bottle. Recipes that use a water bottle, such as cloning flowers or making phosphor, return the empty glass bottle to the player.[2]
- Slabs craft back into blocks. Two slabs of almost any material craft into one full block, and chiseled blocks, which vanilla makes from slabs, move to the stonecutter.[3]
Appearance
The resource pack retextures the block and its interface. The front of the table shows a small cabinet with drawers, and the top a round, pale work surface.[4] In the crafting screen the 3×3 grid sits on a pale plate decorated with small pictograms, and the "Crafting" title is removed.[5][6]
