Curse of Binding
| Maximum level | I |
|---|---|
| Slots | Armor |
| Applies to | Wearable items |
| Resource location | minecraft:binding_curse |
| Defined in | binding_curse.json |
Curse of Binding is a curse that prevents a worn item from being removed. It works as in vanilla, but in Matcha Flavoured it is stored on every crafted Hell-Bound Book, and curses are the only enchantments an enchanting table can offer.
Obtaining
- Every crafted Hell-Bound Book stores Curse of Binding I.[1] Blessings crafted from it do not keep the curse.
- Ominous trial chamber vaults roll books from
#minecraft:in_enchanting_table, which the pack reduces to the curses, so they only give Curse of Binding or Curse of Vanishing.[2] - Random enchanted books in chests and fishing treasure.
Behavior
Curse of Binding works as in vanilla. Applying a blank Hell-Bound Book to armor in an anvil gives the armor Curse of Binding. As a curse, it is not removed by a grindstone.
Its anvil cost multiplier is 1, down from 8.
