Stabilized Estus is a crafted magic material that replaces the blaze rod. It is made by binding Estus Ash with Benzene and a Stable Void, and is the core of the Hell-Bound Book, the Eye of Ender and the Warding Stone. It has uncommon rarity and an enchantment glint.

Crafting is the only source. Blazes drop fire charges instead of blaze rods in the pack, and no chest contains Stabilized Estus.[1][2]

Usage

The developer's introduction video calls Stabilized Estus "a vital crafting component for most magic".[3]

One Stabilized Estus and one Divine Fragment make 16 eyes of ender. The vanilla recipes that use blaze rods (the brewing stand, blaze powder and the end rod) are removed or replaced, so these three recipes are its only uses.[4]
