An Apotropaic Arrow is a tipped arrow of Healing II with its own name and texture. Instant Health harms undead mobs instead of healing them, so the arrow is a weapon against zombies and skeletons. "Apotropaic" means warding off evil, the same theme as the pack's apotropaic equipment.

A novice-level Fletcher sells 64 Apotropaic Arrows for one Obol. The trade can be used 999 times.[1]
Usage
The arrow is shot from a bow or crossbow. On hit it applies the vanilla strong_healing potion, Instant Health II: it deals 12 extra damage (12 (
× 6)) to undead mobs and heals other mobs by 8 ( × 4), as a vanilla Arrow of Healing II does. Instant effects on arrows are applied at full strength.
The name "Apotropaic Arrow" comes from a custom potion name, so the arrow keeps it when shot and picked up again.[2]
