The recipe unlocks when the player picks up lapis lazuli.[1] It also needs two Estus Ash, which comes from undead mobs.
Usage
Warding
Held in the main hand or off hand, a nazar gives
2: every second it slows undead within 10 blocks and deals 1 (
× 0.5) to the nearest one within 6 blocks.[2] Warding from both hands is added together up to
3, so a nazar in the off hand turns any
1 weapon, such as a Warding Sword, into
3. Two nazars also give
3, the most that held items can reach. See Warding for the full mechanics.
