A Nightshade Arrow is a tipped arrow of Poison II with its own name and texture. It is named after the poisonous nightshade plant. Poison does not affect undead mobs, so it is used against living mobs such as spiders and creepers.

A novice-level Fletcher sells 64 Nightshade Arrows for one Obol. The trade can be used 999 times.[1]
Usage
The arrow applies the vanilla strong_poison potion on hit. As with every tipped arrow, the effect lasts one eighth of the potion's duration: Poison II for 2.7 seconds (54 ticks), like a vanilla Arrow of Poison II.
