A Divine Fragment is a rare magic material that replaces the turtle scute. It comes from breaking spawners and defeating powerful mobs, and is needed for late-game items: Adamant Alloy, Electrum Alloy, Crystal Hearts, Bedrock Busters, eyes of ender and the Prayer of Prometheus. Nine fragments make a Divine Favor.
Obtaining
Divine fragments cannot be farmed from ordinary mobs. The developer's video describes them as the pack's main answer to mob grinders: every spawner broken gives one, so a spawner is worth more broken than built into a farm.[1]

Every source uses the same fragment, which has rare (aqua) rarity and an enchantment glint.[2] Spawners always drop exactly one: Fortune has no effect on them.
Crafting
| Name | Ingredients | Recipe |
|---|---|---|
| Divine Fragment | Divine Favor | matcha:crafting/divine_fragment |
A Divine Favor can be broken down into 9 fragments, and 9 fragments craft a Divine Favor.
Trading
A master-level Mouthpiece sells one Divine Fragment for 2 Crystal Hearts and an echo shard.[3]
Usage
One fragment and one Stabilized Estus make 16 eyes of ender, enough to fill an end portal. A fragment and a trial key make an ominous trial key.
Behavior
A Divine Fragment lying on the ground gives off small electric spark particles.[4]
The fragment is a turtle scute with rare rarity. Ordinary turtle scutes, such as those shed by baby turtles, are not kept: when a player outside Creative mode picks up a common-rarity scute, it is replaced with a Turtle Shellmet.[5] The vanilla turtle shell recipe is removed.
