Tooltip

From Matcha Flavoured Wiki

This is the Matcha Flavoured version of Tooltip, renamed or changed from vanilla Minecraft.

The tooltip of a Matcha Flavoured item is rewritten to be read at a glance. The pack hides the vanilla attribute lines ("When in Main Hand: …") and replaces them with short lore lines that start with a symbol, such as Attack damage 6 or Armor 3.[1] The symbols are characters of the resource pack's font, drawn in font/custom_emojis.png.[2] This page lists what each symbol means.

Equipment stats

Weapons, tools and armor list their stats as dark green lines. Each is a symbol followed by a number.[3]

Symbol Meaning Example
Attack damage Attack damage copper sword
Attack speed Attack cooldown, in seconds between full-strength hits weapons
Mining speed Mining speed tools
Armor Armor points armor

Reach Extra interaction range butcher's knife; the crook's line is broken, see Known bugs
Safe fall distance Extra safe fall distance leather and sturdy leather armor
Step height Extra step height sturdy leather boots
Throwable The item can be thrown pickled fungi and bubbling mead

Claymores add "When Blocking:" and percentages for "Melee Blocking" and "Projectile Blocking". The last lines, "Repaired with:" and an item name, give the material an anvil accepts for repairing.

Intrinsics

Lines in color below the stats are intrinsic enchantments, which the pack stores on the item and shows by symbol instead of by name.[3] "∞" means the effect lasts as long as the item is worn or held; a number is a level; a time in brackets is how often the effect repeats.
