This is the Matcha Flavoured version of Beetroot Soup, renamed or changed from vanilla Minecraft.

A milk bottle is a stackable portion of milk. Drinking one removes all status effects, like a milk bucket, and gives the glass bottle back.[1] It replaces beetroot soup.

A milk bucket and 4 glass bottles make 4 milk bottles. Obtaining a milk bucket unlocks the recipe.

Usage

Food

Drinking a milk bottle takes 0.8 seconds and clears every effect, good or bad (the tooltip calls this "Cleanse"). Like the pack's other foods it restores no hunger, and it doesn't heal. Milk bottles stack to 64, so they are a portable cure for the Wither effect and other maleffects; the developer asks players to bring milk or bread to Hell.[2]

Milk bottles are used in cheese, cake, ice cream, glow berry crumble, latkes, chorus mochi, apple cinnamon oatmeal, stroganoff and the green curry, paneer and pumpkin curry stocks.

0.5-alpha The milk bottle recipe unlocks when obtaining milk.
1.10 Milk got a new cleanse tooltip icon, so older milk bottles don't stack with new ones.
1.12.3 The milk bottle no longer carries 2 nutrition and 1.2 saturation, so drinking it restores no hunger.[3]
1.12.6-alpha Drinking a milk bottle takes 0.8 seconds, down from 1.6.[4][5]

October 23, 2026 		Milk bottles from older versions update to the 0.8-second drinking time; until then the item updater still gave them 1.6 seconds. The updater's check now looks for a version tag that no milk bottle carries, so every held milk bottle is rewritten, to the same components, whenever the inventory changes (see Known bugs).[6]
