Crimson fungus is a secret ingredient from Hell whose intrinsic is Weakness. Picking it up only unlocks a recipe for 2 red dye; its foods never appear in the recipe book.^[1]

Crimson Fungus is cooked like a mushroom: braised into braised crimson fungus (Weakness, 0:30), pickled with a brown mushroom into pickled crimson fungus (a splash potion of Weakness II for 1 minute) and cooked with steak, dough and milk into crimson stroganoff (Weakness, 5:00).
