Oven
An oven is a block used to cook food. It replaces the furnace and works like one, with fuel, but it only cooks food and a few plants and blocks: ores need a blast furnace. It cooks food twice as fast as a vanilla furnace and is the only station that makes pumpkin curry.

The oven needs 3 iron ingots, 5 blocks of bricks and a kindling.[1] The vanilla furnace recipe is removed. Crafting one grants the advancement Now You're Cooking.
Usage
Cooking food
The oven cooks every food that kindling can, plus a few that only it can:[2]
- All simple preparations of intrinsic ingredients, such as baked pumpkin, steamed carrots and chocolate.
- Bread from dough, baked potatoes, fried eggs, nopales and cooked meat and fish.
- Molasses from sugar cane.
- Popped chorus fruit and dried kelp, which only the oven makes.
- The oven meals: green curry, Japanese curry, paneer makhani, tonkotsu ramen and pumpkin curry, cooked from their stocks. Pumpkin curry can only be cooked in an oven.
Food takes 5 seconds and the oven meals 15 seconds. Each item gives 0.35 experience.

The vanilla recipes for charcoal, leaf litter and lime dye (from sea pickles) also still work.[3] Copper, ancient debris, stone and most other vanilla smelting recipes are removed; they moved to the mud kiln or the blast furnace.
