Terracotta is fired clay. In Matcha Flavoured it is made in a mud kiln rather than a furnace, and it can be broken down into bricks.

A clay block fired in a mud kiln becomes terracotta (5 seconds); the vanilla furnace recipe is removed. Glazed terracotta is also made in the kiln.[1][2]

Trading

The Mason sells 1 bulk terracotta for 1 obol at the apprentice level; it unpacks into 64 terracotta. Its tooltip reads "x64 Terracotta".[3] See Bulk blocks.

1.12.1-alpha Terracotta can no longer be made in an oven; it is only kilned.
1.12.2 The Mason's terracotta trade gives 1 bulk terracotta, which unpacks into 64 terracotta, instead of the 64 terracotta themselves.[5]
1.12.3 The bulk block has an English name, "Bulk Terracotta", and the tooltip "x64 Terracotta"; before, the game showed raw translation keys.
