A cushion is a decorative item that comes in the 16 dye colors. Cushions were added in Minecraft 26.3; see Cushion for how they behave. They are not in 1.12.5, which is for 26.2; this page describes the pack's 26.3 port, released as the 1.12.3 alpha for 26.3. Matcha Flavoured adds a stonecutter recipe for every color, so wool can be cut straight into cushions.
Obtaining
Stonecutting
One block of wool of a color gives 2 cushions of the same color in the stonecutter. For example, a black wool gives 2 black cushions.[1] There is one recipe per color.[2]
Crafting
The vanilla recipes still work: three slabs of one color of wool in a row make a cushion, and a cushion and a dye of another color make a cushion of that color. The wool slabs come from the stonecutter as well: see Stonecutter.
Chest loot
White cushions are found in the barrels of abandoned camps, 1–2 at a time.[3]
History
| Upcoming | The 26.3 port (the 1.12.3 alpha for 26.3) adds stonecutter recipes for all 16 colors of cushion, and white cushions to abandoned camp barrels. |
