Sulfur Goo

| Type | Item |
|---|---|
| Stackable | Yes (64) |
| Resource location | matcha:sulfur_goo |
| Base item | minecraft:slime_ball |
| Defined in | sulfur_cube.json |
Sulfur goo is a sticky yellow item dropped by sulfur cubes. It is a vanilla slimeball with its own name and texture, so it works everywhere a slimeball does.
Obtaining
Chance is the probability that a single chest, mob or catch yields at least one, assuming no Looting, Luck or Fortune.
Mob drops
| Source | Stack size | Chance | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sulfur cube (entities/sulfur_cube) | 1–2 | 100% | player kill |
A sulfur cube killed by a player drops 1–2 sulfur goo, along with 1–2 sulfur chunks. Sulfur cubes drop nothing in vanilla.[1]
Usage
Sulfur goo is a slimeball with an item_model component, so every vanilla recipe that takes a slimeball accepts it: sticky pistons, leads and slime blocks, for example.
It does not stack with ordinary slimeballs, because its components differ.
