A wither skeleton in Matcha Flavoured is more dangerous than in vanilla Minecraft in two ways: it digs through blocks to reach a player in a fortress, and the Wither effect it inflicts can cost maximum health. In exchange, it drops its skull far more often.

All drops require a player kill.[1] Coal and bones are as in vanilla. The skull drops with a 30% chance, plus 10% per level of Looting above the first (40% with Looting II, 50% with Looting III); vanilla's chance is 2.5%. Unlike other undead, wither skeletons don't drop 
Estus Ash or 
Raw Estus.
Behavior
Breaking blocks
About once a second while a player is inside a fortress, every wither skeleton within 5 blocks of that player breaks the two blocks directly in front of it: the block at its eye level one block ahead, and the block below that.[2][3] The blocks drop as items. This lets wither skeletons break through walls and stops players from safely attacking their feet through a one-block gap.
The blocks are broken in the direction the skeleton is facing, whatever the block is, including blocks the player placed.
Wither effect
A wither skeleton's hit applies the Wither effect. Except on Easy, staying withered for 8 seconds costs the player 1 heart of maximum health (2 on Hard), so bread or milk should be carried in Hell.
Wither skeletons are undead and hurt by warding. They are not one of the "mundane hostile" mobs, so their attributes are not changed by difficulty.
