Witch
| Type | Hostile mob |
|---|---|
| Health points | Vanilla |
| Spawn | Overworld (away from the open sky), witch huts |
| Drops |
A witch in Matcha Flavoured is a reliable source of
Estus Ash, dropping 4–8 when killed by a player. Like other non-undead mobs, witches can't spawn under the open sky in the Overworld.
Spawning
Witches use the vanilla spawn lists, except that the pale garden spawns no monsters. A witch that appears in the Overworld where it can see the sky is removed at once, and after the Ender Dragon is killed it is also removed at Y=63 or above.[1] See Spawning.
Drops
Loot table minecraft:entities/witch (source); pools roll 1; 1–3 time(s). Overrides the vanilla table.
| Item | Stack size | Chance per roll | Chance per table | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4–8 | 100% | 100% | player kill | |
| 0–2 | 26.7% | 44.5% | player kill | |
| 0–2 | 13.3% | 24.4% | player kill | |
| 0–2 | 13.3% | 24.4% | player kill | |
| 0–2 | 13.3% | 24.4% | player kill |
All drops require a player kill.[2] Compared to vanilla:
- the 1–3 random drops are red mushrooms, brown mushrooms (twice as likely), spider eyes or glass bottles, 0–2 each; sugar, sticks, gunpowder and glowstone dust are removed;
- the guaranteed 4–8 redstone is replaced by 4–8
Estus Ash.
