Stray

| Spawn | Snowy biomes |

A stray in Matcha Flavoured is a cold-biome skeleton variant. It gets the same health and bow changes as skeletons, drops
Estus Ash, and no longer drops plain arrows.
Spawning
Strays use the vanilla spawn rules and, as undead, can spawn on the open surface until the Ender Dragon is killed. See Surface.
Drops
Loot table minecraft:entities/stray (source); pools roll 1 time(s). Overrides the vanilla table.
| Item | Stack size | Chance per roll | Chance per table | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0–2 | 66.7% | 66.7% | ||
| 0–1 | 50.0% | 50.0% | player kill | |
| 0–1 | 50.0% | 50.0% | player kill |
Compared to vanilla, strays don't drop plain arrows, and they add
Estus Ash (0–1) when killed by a player. Bones drop on any kill; the tipped arrow of Slowness and estus ash need a player kill.[1]
Behavior and difficulty
Strays are in the #minecraft:skeletons tag, so they are modified like skeletons: 10 (
× 5) on Easy and Normal and 12 (
× 6) on Hard, with a Punch I (Normal) or Punch II (Hard) bow. They don't drop their equipment.[2] They are undead and hurt by warding.
