Porkchop
The porkchop is a food item with the pack's "classic" porkchop model. It heals 4 ( × 2) the moment it is used, but the pack gives it no recipe, trade or drop: its only source is a loot table for the /loot command, and in 1.12.5 that table gives a plain raw porkchop instead (see Obtaining). It is a different item from the raw porkchop that pigs drop.
Obtaining
The datapack has a loot table for it, matcha:treasure/porkchop_classic, which no chest, mob or trade uses. The table writes its components under the 26.3 key modifier, which Minecraft 26.2 ignores, so in 1.12.5 /loot give @s loot matcha:treasure/porkchop_classic gives an ordinary raw porkchop and the classic porkchop can't be obtained.[1] See Known bugs.
In the 1.12.3 alpha for 26.3, and in the 26.3 port that continues it, the same table works and gives the classic porkchop.[2]
Usage
Food
The item is a vanilla porkchop with a changed model (matcha:porkchop_classic) and the name "Porkchop". It is consumed at once, with no eating animation or sound, and applies Instant Health when used.[3]
History
| 1.12.3 | Added a loot table, matcha:treasure/porkchop_classic, to give the item with /loot. The update_item trigger now converts old classic porkchops to the new model.[4] The 26.2 release's table already used the 26.3 modifier key, so there it gave a plain raw porkchop.[5]
