The Jeweler is a villager profession that sets gems into jewelry and buys gems back for Obols. It replaces the toolsmith, and its job site block is the Smithing Table. Trading with a jeweler is the only way to obtain earrings, the Ruby Circlet and the Hepatizon Laurel in survival: the pack's loot tables for these items are not used by any chest or mob.[1]

All trades can be used 999 times before restocking, and each level offers all of its trades.[2]
Jewelry
Each piece of jewelry costs obols plus the gem or material it is made from:
- Novice: Opal Earrings (4 obols and an Opal), and the decorative Diamond Earrings, Amethyst Earrings and Lapis Earrings (1 obol and 2 of the material each).
- Apprentice: Ruby Circlet (4 obols and a Ruby).
- Journeyman: Amber Earrings (8 obols and an Amber).
- Expert: Hepatizon Laurel (10 obols and 2 Hepatizon Alloy) and Topaz Earrings (14 obols and a Topaz).
The earrings and circlet come with their intrinsic effect already applied; see each item's page for what it does.[3]
The villager XP of the jewelry trades rises with each level: 10 at Novice, 70 at Apprentice, 150 at Journeyman, and 250 and 200 at Expert.

At Master level the jeweler buys gems for obols:[4]
