Amber earrings are jewelry that slowly heal the wearer. Worn in the head slot, they give constant Regeneration I. In Matcha Flavoured, where there is no natural regeneration, they are one of the few ways to regain health without eating.
Obtaining
Trading
The Jeweler sells amber earrings at Journeyman level for 8 Obols and one Amber. The trade can be used 999 times.[1]
Usage
Effect
Every tick, if the wearer has no Regeneration effect, the earrings give 3 seconds of Regeneration I with no particles. As soon as one application runs out, the next begins, so the wearer regenerates continuously. If the player already has Regeneration from another source, such as food, the earrings don't replace it.[2] Regeneration I heals 1 (
× 0.5) every 2.5 seconds, as in vanilla.
Armor
Amber earrings are worn in the head slot and take the place of a helmet. They give 1 armor point and no armor toughness or knockback resistance. Like all jewelry, they are unbreakable and, being built on a netherite helmet, don't burn in fire or lava. See Jewelry.
