Tallow is a material found in igloo chests. It is a variant of Wax with its own name and texture, and can be used anywhere wax can.

The igloo chest rolls 5 to 8 times from a pool in which tallow (1–2) has a weight of 15 out of 51.[1]
Usage
Tallow is a honeycomb item underneath, like wax, so every recipe and interaction that takes wax also accepts tallow: waxing copper blocks, crafting candles, and the pack's recipes that use wax, such as the Elegy of Icarus and the Crete music disc.[2] See Wax#Usage.
Tallow and wax do not stack with each other, because tallow carries a different name and model.
