Leaves

This is the Matcha Flavoured version of Leaves, renamed or changed from vanilla Minecraft.

Leaves are the foliage blocks of trees. In Matcha Flavoured, broken leaves no longer drop saplings or sticks; saplings are crafted from leaves instead, and oak and dark oak leaves drop apples more often than in vanilla.

Obtaining

Leaves drop themselves when broken with shears or a Silk Touch tool, as in vanilla.

Drops

Broken without shears or Silk Touch, leaves drop nothing except apples from oak and dark oak leaves. The pack removed sapling and stick drops from every kind of leaves to reduce inventory clutter.

Apples

Oak and dark oak leaves roll twice for an apple, once for Fortune and once for the electrum tool intrinsic. Each roll uses the same chances:

With no enchantment both rolls use the base chance, so an unenchanted tool has two 0.75% chances per block. The apples come from the pack's own apple loot table, so they carry the pack's apple properties.

The 1.12.1-alpha notes describe the change as "base 0.5% -> 0.75% ; max fortune 2.5% -> 4%". The 4% chance applies at level IV or higher; Fortune III gives 2%.

Usage

Saplings

Every kind of leaves can be crafted into one of its sapling (for mangrove leaves, a propagule; for azalea and flowering azalea leaves, the matching azalea). Each recipe unlocks when the player picks up the matching log, since players do not always collect leaves.
