A rail is a track block that minecarts run on. Matcha Flavoured replaces its recipe with one that gives more when made from steel.

6 iron ingots and a stick make 32 rails, where vanilla makes 16; 6 steel alloy and a stick make 64. The vanilla recipe is removed.[1][2]
