Sculk blocks are the dark, living blocks of the deep dark. Matcha Flavoured changes their drops so that sculk can be collected without Silk Touch, makes sculk sensors and shriekers drop echo shards, and lets all of them be crafted from sculk veins. This page covers sculk, sculk veins, sculk sensors, calibrated sculk sensors and sculk shriekers.

With Silk Touch each block drops itself, as in vanilla.[1][2][3] A sculk vein always drops one item, even when it covers several faces of a block.[4]

Breaking a sculk block gives 4 veins, exactly enough to craft it back.

Usage

Echo shards from sensors and shriekers are used in the pack's Prayer of Cronus, the "5" music disc and the ominous bottle.[8] Sculk blocks are also an ingredient of the Prayer of Cronus.

Appearance

The resource pack retextures sculk veins and echo shards.[9]
