A tadpole is a fishing junk item caught in Swamp and Mangrove Swamp. It is a renamed tadpole spawn egg that stacks to 8.
Obtaining
Fishing
The junk table lists it at 10 of 93 junk weight in swamps: 10.75% of junk, about 1.08% of all catches in open water (1.13% elsewhere).[1] It plays the frog catch sound.
Usage
Placing it spawns a tadpole, which grows into a frog. Using it on a spawner destroys every spawner and trial spawner within 16 blocks and deals 1 damage to the player.[2]
