A frog is a fishing junk item caught in Swamp and Mangrove Swamp. It is a renamed frog spawn egg that doesn't stack.
Obtaining
Fishing
The junk table lists it at 5 of 93 junk weight in swamps: 5.38% of junk, about 0.54% of all catches in open water.[1] It plays the frog catch sound.
Usage
Placing it spawns a frog. Using it on a spawner outside Creative mode destroys every spawner and trial spawner within 16 blocks and deals 1 damage to the player.[2]
History
| 1.12.4 | Can't be caught: the junk table can't be loaded.[3] |

| 1.12.5 | Can be caught again: the junk table loads.[4] |
