Banners
Banners work as in vanilla Minecraft. Matcha Flavoured adds ten pride banner patterns that can be applied in a loom without a banner pattern item, and makes the Globe banner pattern craftable.
Pride patterns
The pack adds ten banner patterns in the matcha namespace. All of them are in the #minecraft:no_item_required tag, so they appear in the loom like the basic vanilla patterns.[1] The tag adds to the vanilla list rather than replacing it, so the vanilla patterns stay available.

The patterns are full-color images. When applied with white dye a pattern keeps its plain name (for example "Trans Pride"); with any other dye it is named as a wash of that color (for example "Trans Pride Black Wash").[2] The textures are in the resource pack at assets/matcha/textures/entity/banner, and the patterns also render on shields.
Globe banner pattern
The Globe banner pattern can be crafted from paper and a cornflower.[3]
Shields
The Warding Shield carries a fixed banner design in light blue, black and blue.
